The DC Data Summit Goes Virtual!

Jul 13, 2020

By DC Charter School Alliance Staff

The annual DC Data Summit will be held virtually this month for the first time in its 11-year history. From July 20-24, school-based data managers, analysts, practitioners, leaders, and other data users from both charter schools and DCPS can select from a range of virtual sessions covering topics such as data strategies for distance learning, using departure data to strengthen teacher retention, developing tracking systems for capturing outcomes data, and creating data dashboards, among other topics. Sessions will also dive into the issues schools face amid the COVID-19 pandemic and how data can be used to address these issues. Presenters include school-based experts as well as partner organizations experienced at working with education-related data. Sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging so participants can apply the knowledge.

Registration is free and open to all teachers, leaders, and staff at charter schools and DCPS, as well as non-profit partners and stakeholders. The DC Charter School Alliance is thrilled to be able to offer this event virtually, with support from Lexia, NWEA, EmpowerK12, OSSE, and other sponsors who are helping make this event possible.

Register now to select your workshops, and also join us for the closing virtual happy hour, which will include a raffle with some great prizes, presented by our sponsors.
